API Access and Authentication

Payvala does not provide self-service signup. Access and credentials are issued by the Payvala team.

Request access

Contact the Payvala team at support@payvala.com with your organization details and the products you want to use.

Environment-specific credentials

Credentials, tokens, and keys issued for one environment cannot be used in another.

Partner APIs authentication

Partner APIs use OAuth 2.0 (Client Credentials Grant). Secured endpoints require an Authorization: Bearer access token.

IP configuration

The originating IP addresses of your API requests must be configured in POEMS (Payvala Operations and Equipment Management System) to enable access.

Payload encryption

The Partner Management API supports payload encryption using JWE and JWKS. See the Authentication guide for details.

Use a non-production environment

Plan for rate limits

Rate limiting is applied to API requests. Handle throttled responses without aggressive retries.
